LG Smart mobile phone

LG Electronics, Korea’s second-largest manufacturer of mobile phones and the third-largest in the world, LG mobile phone company entered into the Chinese market only in recent decades.

I am sure you have heard of LG fridges or other home appliances. LG mobile phone is developing at a surprising speed. But it is still lagging the race of smartphone competition. I am degrading the LG mobile phone company. The truth is LG is not strong in the mobile phone market at the time being.has performed notably poorly in the smartphone battle so far.

Though the company makes several hit conventional China Wholesale mobile phones, including the popular Cookie touchscreen phone, which sold more than 10 million units last year, it has been unable to cash in on the smartphone boom. The company’s weak smartphone lineup was also a major factor in its worse-than-expected financial results in the second quarter. LG reported operating profits of just 126.2 billion won ($107 million) for the three months that ended June 30, about one-tenth the figure from 2009. Its mobile communications department, in particular, posted a loss of 132.6 billion won, a flip from a profit of 633.2 billion won a year earlier. Now, LG Electronics is hoping that it has hit bottom, and that a major turnaround is in store for the rest of the year. Backing up Jung’s optimism, LG’s latest Android-based smartphone, the Optimus, became available last week through SK Telecom and KT, the country’s top cellular service providers. T Mobile is known to be preparing to launch several new smartphone models in the third quarter, around eight of which will run Google’s Android operating system. They include the Optimus One with Google, which runs the Android version 2.2, or “Froyo” and the Optimus Chic, which also runs Froyo and targets trendy youth. The company, a long-time partner of Microsoft, will also reportedly launch one or two smartphones running Windows Mobile 7 in the fourth quarter. That would make LG the first in the local industry to release a Windows Mobile 7 phone.

Let us wait and see the future LG smartphone!
